The Artist

As long as I can remember I wanted to be an artist. From being read storybooks with colorful pictures to watching my favorite cartoons express emotions. It was someone's job to create these things and I wanted that job!

I began sketching daily in 2006.

I started posting my art online in 2008.

I got my first tablet and started learning digital art in 2010.

Art class was cut at my high school so I dived deeper into video, web and graphic design. I graduated high school in 2012.

I graduated from Lansing Community College with a associates degree in applied arts for Computer Graphics Animation in 2016.

I bought my first button maker in 2017.

I've illustrated children's books and comic books that were self published by their authors. I've created graphic design for businesses. I've made comics published in my local newspaper. I've designed shirts and logos. I've done custom portraits and memorial pieces. I've painted murals that have lasted for 10+ years and created chalk art that would disappear after that day.

I started vending in 2023 by selling my art on buttons, stickers, bags, coloring books and even making my own plushies.

For me It's not about being the best artist. It's about being a better artist than you were yesterday. Its about speaking what is on your heart and being sincere with the message you want to share.
